Put your grilling or baking skills to the test at the Grillin’ with the President BBQ Cook-Off and Dessert Contest on March 5, 2026! Whether you’re a BBQ pro or a dessert enthusiast, this is your chance to showcase your talents and take home the win!

Grillin’ with the President BBQ Cook-Off:

Student teams will compete for the best in beef fajitas, pork spare ribs, and half chicken. It’s your chance to show off your grilling skills and represent your club. Any SWTX student can participate and create a team!

  • BBQ Pit: Each team must secure its own BBQ pit.
  • Registration Deadline: Wednesday, Feb 25, 2026, at noon.

Dessert Contest:

All dessert lovers! Whether you're a seasoned baker or a beginner, this is your chance to shine in the Dessert Contest! The contest will be held alongside the BBQ cook-off, and entries must be made from scratch.

  • Eligibility: Any SWTX student or employee is welcome to enter.
  • Team or Individual: Contestants can work individually or as a team (prizes awarded to only one member/team).
  • Entry Limit: One entry per person/team.
  • Registration Deadline: Wednesday, Feb 25, 2026, at noon.
